Recipe Ingredients
Boiled chickpeas 1 cup
Chicken stock 1 glass
Red lentils 50 gm
Turmeric 1 tsp
Chili powder 1 tsp
Yogurt 125 gm
Oil ¼ cup
Onion 1
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Alls spice powder ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Ingredients for Kabab
Mince 300 gm
Ginger 1 piece
Garlic 4 – 5 coves
All spice powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Onion 1
Oil ¼ cup
Green chilies 3 – 4
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Egg 1
Recipe Method
Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, add 1 chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
Then add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 cup boiled chickpeas and 50 gm soaked lentils. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
Now add 125 gm yogurt, 1 glass stock, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp all spice powder and salt to taste. Cook for 15 – 20 minutes.
Now turn the flame and fry well.
In chopper put together 300 gm mince, ¼ bunch f coriander leaves, 1 chopped onion, 4 – 5 cloves of garlic, 1 medium piece of ginger, salt to taste, 1 tsp all spice powder and 1 egg. Chopperize well.
Remove mixture in a bowl, form into kabab. Shallow fry each kabab till golden brown and crisp.
Add fried kababs to the prepared chickpeas gravy.
Turn the flame high, fry for 1 – 2 minutes till oil comes on top. Dish it out and serve hot.
