Woh janoon tha k saraab tha
Mujhay sochney mein zaman laga
Mujhay munzilon nay bhoola diya
Mujhay jis masiha pay maan tha
Mujhay us nay sooli charha diya

Kai humsafar kai rahguzr
Mujhay rastey main miley magar
Meri tushnagi kuch aur hai
Meri justajoo koi aur hai

Woh jo roshni ki tarha barhey
Magar ansuon main sama sakey

Jo subha ki pehli kiran banay
Mere dil ka aangan nikhaar day
Jo muhabbaton ki ravaytein
Laho ki bali se sanwaar day
Mujhay us wafa ki talaash hai
Mujhay us wafaki talaash hai

Magar is jahan-e-kharab main
Yahan khahishon ke saraab main
Mujhey kaun day aisy wafa
Mein kahan se laoon woh wafa
Inhi uljhanon main ghira hua
Yehi sochta main chala gaya..............!!
